A belated update for sure. We've been busy slowly accumulating band members and have been workshopping new material for the next record. But, here's something to keep you busy: a review of City of Night right here in Seattle Sound magazine. This one doesn't go into gory detail of the record but does give some kudos for making something other than indie/emo music in this town. Thanks folks! ===== The Fog People - City of Night With heavy knob twiddling, the Fog People's City of Night plays like a porno soundtrack for randy androids. Industrial loops pulse under the People's digitally modified vocals, while live horns build tension. During 12 tracks, this "film-noir concept album" tells the fictional story of a threesome's descent into the murk of Seattle S&M. Inspired by the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Dick Tracey, the Fog People fight the Northwest's indie rock hegemony. City's genius breaks the mold. Huzzah. ===== Next time: band updates (I promise!), some new track snippets, and another review fogpeople.org
